FAQs
- What does 'EMF' stand for?
EMF stands for Electro Magnetic Field.
- What is the EMF Balancing Technique®?
The EMF Balancing Technique® is a way of calibrating the body's natural electromagnetic energy. This increases our experience of our core energy.
- Why would I want EMF Balancing?
Many people report an enhanced sense of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing as well as a range of benefits including a sense of calm, heightened intuition, and accelerated personal development.
- What happens in an EMF Balancing session?
The EMF Balancing Technique® has eight sequential phases, each with its own special focus and set of intentions. The purpose of the intentions is to encourage and strengthen the person’s experience of their own inner wisdom, self direction, self support and balance.
A session usually lasts between 45 minutes and one hour and takes place with the client lying on a massage table. As the Practitioner mainly works in the electromagnetic field around the body, clients remain fully clothed.
A reminder affirmation sheet is given after each session so that clients can review and reinforce the intentions of the session they have experienced.
- How did the EMF Balancing Technique develop?
The technique was developed in the late 1980s by Peggy Phoenix Dubro after many years' study of a variety of traditional and contemporary approaches to working with the human energy field.
- What kind of people learn to be EMF Balancing Practitioners?
People from all professions and walks of life learn EMF Balancing, including aroma-therapists, massage practitioners, psychologists, university lecturers, psycho-therapists, and human resource personnel, IT professionals and physicists looking for a change of career.
The technique is of potential value to all those in the helping professions and to others who wish to work with people one-on-one to enable them to access more of their inner energy and creative wisdom. The main requirements are respect for the uniqueness of individuals, an open mind, a spirit of service, and a desire to learn.
- What training is required to be an EMF Balancing Practitioner?
Accredited Practitioner Training starts with the six day Personal Growth Program. The topics covered are:
Day 1: The Universal Calibration Lattice Workshop. In this workshop you are introduced to the theory behind EMF, you learn to expand and increase your own energy, you are given two key symbols plus the Spiral Sweep theory and practice, and you learn how to conduct a mini-session.
Day 2: Phase 1 in which you learn the basic Body Prep and how to balance wisdom and emotions.
Day 3: Phase II in which you learn how to release excess electromagnetic energy associated with events from the past and to activate past energy as a support and direction for the present.
Day 4: Phase III in which you learn how to centre core energy in the present. In all these phases, the Practitioner is 'parallel processing' with the client. In other words, as you work in the spirit of service to assist your client to access their inner energy and wisdom, you are yourself receiving the same personal growth benefits.
Days 5 and 6: Phase IV in which you learn how to connect the client with his or her own future potential and in the process, do the same for yourself.
